How to Connect God’s Power to Your Dead Situation?

Romans 8:11 says: “But if the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, He who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through His Spirit who dwells in you.”

Do you understand the power behind this verse? The same power that raised Jesus Christ from the dead is inside of you. That means whatever dead situation you are facing, whether in your body, marriage, career, or finances, the power inside you has the capability to bring life to it.

But here’s the question: How does that power inside you reach your dead situation?

Genesis 1 says that in the beginning, the Earth was void and formless, and the Holy Spirit was hovering over the waters. But do you know that creation happened only when God spoke?

“Let there be light.” – The Word was released, the Holy Spirit caught it, and creation happened.

And, it is the same principle today.

Your words become the bridge through which the Spirit of God rushes into that dead situation. That is why the Bible says, “Death and life are in the power of the tongue.” (Proverbs 18:21)

If you see a dead end in your job, speak life. If there is a negative report concerning your body, speak the Word of God over it. Don’t keep repeating what the doctor, bank, employer, or situation is saying.

When the angel told Zechariah that Elizabeth would have a son, the Word had already come. But instead of releasing a matching word of faith, Zechariah questioned it and was made mute until the promise was fulfilled. (Read Luke 1)

Your words matter!

God has already placed His Spirit inside you. You are one with Him. What more can God do?

Now look at every dead situation in your life. Maybe you feel stuck, confused, disappointed, or as though nothing is moving. Don’t accept that as your final portion.

The same power that raised Jesus from the dead is inside you. All you need to do is release it through your words.
