God Has Gone Before You : Walk in Certainty

God Has Gone Before You : Walk in Certainty

Feelings of fear, doubt, and anxiety often take over when we’re uncertain about how a situation will unfold. We love a good adventure, but uncertainty? Not so much. When challenges arise, we crave certainty—something solid to hold on to, something that reassures us about what’s coming next.

But here’s the good news: God has gone before us. And He has already made a way.

“Do not be terrified or afraid. The Lord your God, who goes before you, He will fight for you.”  Deuteronomy 1:29-30

This verse has calmed my fears countless times. I have clung to it in moments of doubt, using it as a reminder that my certainty and trust must be in God.

But today, I want to share something even deeper with you—something that will transform how you understand what it means when God says, “I go before you.”

This truth will give you the confidence to walk with God boldly, knowing that He is always ahead of you, preparing the way.

uncertainty

God Has Gone Before Us Before

In Deuteronomy 1, we read about how the Israelites asked Moses to send twelve spies to scout the Promised Land. But when they heard the spies report, fear overtook them, and they refused to move forward.

Where can we go up? Our brethren have discouraged our hearts, saying, ‘The people are greater and taller than we; the cities are great and fortified up to heaven; moreover, we have seen the sons of the Anakim there.’” Deuteronomy 1:28

Sound familiar? Have you ever faced a challenge that seemed too big? A situation that made you feel too small, too weak, or too unqualified?

Maybe, like me, you’ve told God, “I can’t do this. You must have made a mistake choosing me.”

But here’s the truth: God has taken down giants before, and He will do it again for you.

The Proof That God Destroys Giants

Let’s look at what God had already done before the Israelites reached the Promised Land.

In Deuteronomy 2:4, we see that God gave the land of Seir to Esau’s descendants. Then, in Deuteronomy 2:9, He gave the land of Ar to Lot’s descendants.

What’s important to note is that both these lands were originally inhabited by giants—the Horites lived in Seir, and the Emim lived in Ar.

But what happened? God defeated the giants and gave those lands to His people.

Before the Israelites even faced the giants in Canaan, God had already proven that He was capable of delivering the land from the hands of giants. He had done it before, and He was ready to do it again.

Your Giant is Not Too Big for God

Your giant might not be a literal warrior standing in front of you, but it could be fear, financial struggles, health issues, exams, a job situation, family problems, or uncertainty about the future.

Whatever it is, tell your heart today:

“Be certain—God has gone before me. He has conquered giants before, and He will do it again.”

All we have to do is rise and cross over.

This year let’s walk in the certainty of God’s goodness. He has not made a mistake in choosing you for this assignment. You will fulfil it. You will cross over.

So go forward with confidence—God has already gone before you.

XOXO

Do You Assume Too Much? The Hidden Power of Assumptions 💭🤼

Do You Assume Too Much? The Hidden Power of Assumptions 💭🤼

Have you ever found yourself assuming things without knowing the facts or having proof? Your mind starts creating scenarios, and before you know it, you’re convinced they’re true—without any real evidence!

For example, imagine a friend doesn’t reply to your message. Instead of waiting patiently, you come up with ten different reasons why they’re ignoring you.

Maybe they’re upset with me? Maybe I said something wrong?

When, in reality, they could be sick, overwhelmed with work, or simply away from their phone.

assumptions

Or perhaps someone you used to talk to hasn’t kept in touch for a while. Instead of reaching out, your mind floods with doubts and assumptions about why they’re distant.

How Assumptions Can Harm Relationships

Assumptions are nothing but lies in our head conspired by our feelings, emotions, past history, scars or fears.

The power of assumption is dangerous; it can damage friendships by making you feel rejected or unimportant. It could also erode trust in relationships by making you suspicious or defensive. And, at its worst lead to unnecessary conflicts arising from misunderstandings.

One of the biggest relationship killers is assuming what others think about us based on how they act, speak, or treat us. Instead of seeking clarity, we let negative thoughts take root, leading to unnecessary tension.

Refuse To Let Negative Assumptions to Take Root

Don’t be too spiritual or too knowledgeable, when it comes to knowing the thoughts of people. Jesus is the only one who can discern the thoughts of people. But today we try to discern thoughts only in the negative way.

In Matthew 9:4 the Word of God says “Knowing their thoughts,Jesus said, “Why do you entertain evil thoughts in your hearts?”. That shows we have the power to entertain bad thoughts in our hearts.

1 Peter 5:8-9: “Be sober-minded; be watchful. Your adversary the devil prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour” .

To be sober-minded means not allowing emotions or fears to cloud your judgment. Before making assumptions, take a step back and ask yourself:

  • Is this really true?
  • Am I letting my emotions lead me?
  • Is there a better way to respond—like seeking clarity instead of assuming?

Instead of jumping to conclusions, choose peace and simply refuse to assume things.

Girls, This is What God Wants for You in This Season (And it’s Better Than Money or Influence!)

Girls, This is What God Wants for You in This Season (And it’s Better Than Money or Influence!)

We often find ourselves complaining about not having enough money, talent or influence. Most people wake up every morning thinking how they can get more money or grow their influence. Even their goals are based on that.

Girl, while money, talent and influence are all good, there is something better that you can work towards in this year, and that’s a GOOD HABIT!

good habit

Why is a good habit so important?

Throughout the Scripture we see God looking for something that we already carry so He can “take it over” to bring about a mighty victory.

Little Samuel had a habit of sitting and ministering before the ark (1 Sam 3:1). God saw that consistency and decided to “take it over”, and multiply it to feed a nation.

God spoke to him and called out his name and made him His messenger and Prophet to Israel (1 Sam 3:19).

David had a habit of writing psalms and singing them. Today we have a whole book of his psalms that the whole world is reading.

The same principle, unfortunately, also works when we have bad habits.

Samson had a bad habit of an uncontrollable longing to be with women. The enemy took that habit and worked through it to destroy God’s plan for his life.

Judas had a bad habit of putting his hand in the money box and taking what was not his. His life and ministry ended with that one bad habit (John 12:6).

Are bad habits the reason for delays in your life?

Many times we blame God for our failures and pray unceasingly for a breakthrough or promotion!

But, could our delays be because of some bad habits that we are not willing to break?

Psalm 32:9 says, “Do not be like the horse or the mule, which have no understanding but must be controlled by bit and bridle or they will not come to you.”

That’s a person without a control switch; he is led by a bad habit.

So many people make big goals at the start of a new year. Can I encourage you this year to build at least 2 good habits that God can take over and use it for His glory.

God can take the good habit that you have developed and use it to open the heavens to rain down a blessing. This month put your heart and mind to develop a ‘good habit’ because God can take that habit and make it HIS ‘HABITATION’.

Very often young boys and girls come excitedly to us talking about how God gave a “confirmation” about that “someone” who is to be their life partner. We feel the Word confirmation is thrown so loosely nowadays that it really doesn’t carry the weight of what it is supposed to be.

We compiled this short resource especially for you, to give you some basic confirmation checkpoints that will help you make a Spirit-led decision regarding your life partner.

Unveiling the Power of Service + New Launch: Why The Devil Hates To See You Serve

Unveiling the Power of Service + New Launch: Why The Devil Hates To See You Serve

In God’s kingdom, there are certain principles, which when activated brings the blessings of God on your life. One such principle that will bring kingdom exploits into your life is SERVICE. And the best thing about serving in the house of God is that you don’t need any special gifts or talents for it. Anyone can serve.

Because the devil knows that this is a principle that will cause you to reap exploits in your life, he twists it and makes it look bad so that you walk away from it.

“..Jesus, knowing that the Father had put everything into His hands, and that He had come from God and was [now] returning to God, got up from supper, took off His [outer] robe, and taking a [servant’s] towel, He tied it around His waist. Then He poured water into the basin and began washing the disciples’ feet and wiping them with the towel which was tied around His waist.” (John 13:3-5 AMP)

Jesus had the power to show off because He knew that the Father had put everything into His hands. But He shows it off by doing something very cool— He served!

He took off His outer garment and began to do the job of a servant. Washing someone’s feet was the job of the least of the servants. And this is what Jesus did. And this is the attitude God wants us to have.

What is service?

Service is God’s hidden power.

Service is love in action.
