Shh…Addicted to Porn? Your 1 Step to Freedom

Shh…Addicted to Porn? Your 1 Step to Freedom

Freedom from porn addiction.

Alright, you know porn is bad.

Watching porn makes you feel dirty and condemned.

I am sure you agree with me that pornography is from the pit of hell. It is filthy, destroys our idea about sex, and corrupts our thinking.

But here is where you are stuck.

It has become an addiction. You have been hiding this from those around you. You have tried many online accountability sites to get rid of this habit, but nothing seems to be working.

There is hope

Let me tell you, this is not by chance that you are reading this. If you are fed up with your pornographic addiction and crying out for freedom, please trust me with this one key.

Only ONE.

Follow this, and I am praying that it will trigger a move that will break the hold of pornography over your life.

The quickest way to your breakthrough from a sin is to EXPOSE it (And yes pornography is a sin!)

Never forget this – What you hide has power over your life.

The devil wants you to conceal your addiction to pornography, and he will bring you reasons likeshame, fear, guilt to keep you from exposing it.

John 3:20 says, Everyone who does evil hates the light, and will not come into the light for fear that their deeds will be exposed. But whoever lives by the truth comes into the light, so that it may be seen plainly that what they have done has been done in the sight of God.

You see, the devil is not interested in just playing hide and seek with you. He has only one agenda and that is to knock you out of God’s plan for your life and to completely destroy you and the lives that are connected to you.

Even as you read this, don’t delay

Take a step of faith and expose your struggle with a same-sex mentor, pastor or someone who is mature in the Lord, who can pray with you and guide you. The Bible says confess your sins to one another and pray for one another, that you may be healed (James 5:16). Make sure this person should be filled with the Holy Spirit and the Word and living a life glorifying Jesus.

Trample that fear and shame and make this conversation face to face. No whatsapp. No SMS. Just speak your heart out. And allow God to do the rest!

Fear of Dark? Be Set Free Now!

Fear of Dark? Be Set Free Now!

How many of you have a fear of dark? Does this fear keeps you from sleeping or wakes you up in the middle of the night? Is it like a storm of negative thoughts that rage a battle in your mind when evening fades, and there seems to be no escape? We believe this post will set you free. Remember these 5 things:

1. Your Father is the creator of nights

God is the creator of nights (Genesis 1:5) and He created the moon and stars to govern the night (Genesis 1:16) and God is exalted as head over all (1Chr 29:11-12). Once you digest this truth, know that as a child of God, you have authority over the night and every power of darkness. There is absolutely nothing that can match up to the power of the Spirit of Jesus inside you, whether it is day or night. The name of Jesus makes every darkness tremble! Wake up to the authority that God has given you and everyday command order in your night and commit your hours of sleep to the Lord. God says: I give my beloved sleep (Psalm 127:2).

2. Face your fears head on

Running away from your fears is not an option, fight it head on. God has not given you a spirit of fear but of power, love and sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). What God has not given you, why are you gullible enough to accept it? Use the sword of the Word of God and resist every trash from the enemy. Out loud declare every fear to leave. Get aggressive in what God says about you. Night shines bright as day and darkness is as light to God (Psalm 139:12) and so shall it will be for you. I believe that years of fear-filled nights and trauma will be broken for you right now in the name of Jesus.

3. Guard your senses

Just as faith comes by hearing, fear too comes by hearing. It’s what we hear and receive into our hearts through our senses that begins to project pictures in our imagination. So what are you feeding your mind most of the time? Are you looking at pictures that bring in fear, are you hearing experiences that make you shiver? Cut out the ungodly influences over your life, and you will be successful in choking majority of your fears. Instead feed (not just read) on the Word of God and your faith will grow. Let your room resound with worship music every night. Spend time praying in tongues. Paste scriptures of courage and boldness all around your bedroom walls. If this post encouraged you, write back to us. Share with us your struggles with unforgiveness, and we would be happy to pray for you.

4. What you do before you sleep matters

During the night time, somehow things always look magnified – like if you hear some worrisome news, your fears and imagination becomes magnified. That’s why the Bible says, Meditate upon my Word day and night (Joshua 1:8). Instead of your phone or television, dwell on the Word of God and use your time before sleep especially to magnify your God. The Psalmist says, On my bed I remember you; I think of you through the watches of night (Psalm 63:6). Don’t allow worry, anxiety to be your portion. Meditate on the promises of God – The sun shall not smite you by day, nor the moon by night (Psalm 121:6). God is my pillar of fire in the night (Exodus 13:21). Thank God for his faithfulness every night (Psalms 92:2)

5. Know what the devil is fighting!

Dreams are a powerful channel for God to communicate, and the devil is trying hard to hijack this channel by adulterating it and also through sleeplessness. So guard your eyes and what they see! Know what the devil is fighting – Jacob had an encounter with God when he was alone at night (Genesis 32:22-32). Secrets were revealed to Daniel in night visions (Daniel 2:19). You can make your nights a season of encounter! Start celebrating your nights instead of fearing them. May you get divine songs in the night (Job 35:10). May your nights open up divine wisdom and divine instruction from God (Psalm 16:7). May you get prophetic dreams (Matthew 2:13, Acts 2:17, Matthew 2:19).

Come on, child of God, rise up and stand. Live not one second more in the fear of dark or night. You have a name that makes darkness tremble!

Want to Be an Influencer?

Want to Be an Influencer?

Influencer,Christian Influencer,Women Influencer

Everyone in this generation wants to be an influencer. I really love women who aspire for that, there’s nothing wrong – for some it’s their source of income , for some it’s their heart and calling to lead people.

But here I am inviting you to be a next level influencer that will leave a legacy behind so much so that people would want to imitate what you do, even years after you are gone! And above all, heaven will celebrate you!

Yes, you heard it right, imitate ‘what you do’!

Before I can share more on this invitation, let me tell you about one such woman who was a mighty influencer and impacted the villages and cities during her time and is still doing today.

Just then a woman who had suffered for twelve years with constant bleeding came up behind him. She touched the fringe of his robe, for she thought, “If I can just touch his robe, I will be healed.” Jesus turned around, and when he saw her he said, “Daughter, be encouraged! Your faith has made you well.” And the woman was healed at that moment.”
Matthew 9:20-22 (Mark 5:25‭-‬34)

Faith > Thoughts of People

At that time when women had bleeding issues they were treated as unclean, and when they were in public, they had to announce their sickness so people would move away. But she (this woman) didn’t care what people thought, she knew if she reached out to Jesus the Saviour, she would be healed and whole even if she just touched the fringe of His garment.

She knew her faith in Jesus was the key!

Faith Actions Multiply

Her story didn’t stop there, her story was heard everywhere because after Jesus left that city the Word of God says And wherever He came, in villages, cities, or countryside, they laid the sick in the marketplaces and implored him that they might touch even the fringe of his garment. And as many as touched it were made well.
Mark 6:56 ESV **

Wow! she influenced the cities, the villages and the countryside by her faith in Jesus and by just touching the fringe of His garment.

Do you know you can be that woman?

I believe you are a woman of faith that not only your faith in Jesus will influence your friends and family but the whole world, and that too for generations to come.

So here’s your chance to be a faith influencer, if there’s a testimony of your faith in Jesus and what He has done in your life , mail us your story at [email protected] or click here and write to us.

Our team would love to review it and if selected we will post it on our blog. You can then share your story of faith to people of your community, friends, colleagues and hopefully we will share it to the world through our blog. Hey and it doesn’t matter how small or insignificant it looks, you never know how it can touch lives. So write to us!

Also you can share your faith story as caption on Instagram using the below image and tag us at @soar.girls and use hashtag #soargirls #MyFaithStory

3 Truths To Cling To On The Worst Day Of Your Life

3 Truths To Cling To On The Worst Day Of Your Life

Truths to cling to on the worst day of your life

Seems like you had the worst day of your life? Mirror on the wall saying it’s all your fault? Feeling condemned? Guilt taking the better of you?

Well, here are three truths you should cling to:

1. God is not shocked by your sin

But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us (Rom 5:8)

God is still on the throne and when He died on the cross He saw everything you would ever do, yes even the most terrible sin you could ever imagine, He had seen it all but He still chose to die for you because you are His beloved one.
Even if you are the one who strayed

He would still leave the rest to come find you (Luke 15:3–7). He died for your past present and future sins.

2. Faithful to Forgive

If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9)

There’s so much power in coming to Jesus your High Priest and confessing your sins and asking for His grace to overcome. When you confess, also believe that God has heard you and forgiven you.

Remember He keeps no record of your wrongs, in Jeremiah 31:34, God says, I … will remember [your] sins no more.”

3. His mercy is New every morning!

The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases; his mercies never come to an end; they are new every morning; great is your faithfulness (Lam 3:22-23)

Oh, never forget the above verse for life. No matter how many times you fall, remember God’s mercies never come to an end. Many of us know this scripture in our head but really never believe it. Hope you are not among them.

Before I close, remember your identity in Christ will never change, your position in God will never change.

You are loved beyond your flaws and mistakes.

You are called to overcome the devil by the Blood of the Lamb and the word of His testimony (Rev 12:11)

So rise up warrior! Pick up your armour of righteousness and wear it because God has purchased it for you on the cross. You are washed by the Blood and you are brand new in Christ.

Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new. 2 Cor 5:17

What My Burnt Hand Taught Me 🔥👋🤕

What My Burnt Hand Taught Me 🔥👋🤕

Read the Word,Obedience,Obey,Character building

Recently as I was cooking, I happened to uncover the lid from the cooking pot in a hurry and whooosh..the steam came out in the direction of my hand and burnt it. I screamed with pain while my mom looked at me and laughed. Initially I was confused at her response, but then I realised a month back, my mom had given me instructions on how to uncover the lid from a pot that is filled with steam using a spoon. (For those who don’t know  – First I had to slide the lid to the side with the spoon , let the steam come out from the other end and then hold the lid with the cloth on the other end and ta-da!) I didn’t remember this instruction before doing it but when I got hurt I remembered it very well.

God’s instructions are our protection

And that’s our story!

Most of us don’t heed to God’s instructions and open ourselves for hurt , pain and discipline. It’s the hard knocks that brings us to realisation.

But better is to obey an instruction than face a destruction.

Whoever despises the word and counsel [of God] brings destruction upon himself, But he who [reverently] fears and respects the commandment [of God] will be rewarded. Proverbs 13:13 AMP

Instructions? Where do I find them?

If you are like me and you want to avoid the hard knocks you need to hear instructions!

Here are four tips to not miss instructions:-

1. Read the Bible every day. God speaks in your situation and will instruct you before you face the situation.

2. Meditate on what you read, understand what God wants to say to you and then apply the Word of God in real life.

3. Listen to the Word of God when shared by a man of God. Now that globally most of the church services are happening online, it’s so easy to get distracted in the comfort of our homes. So be super intentional when you are joining a service. Go to your study room and not your bed :p Take a book and pen and note things down or comment on the video what you have learnt.

4. Be accountable to your leaders. Your leaders have walked more than you and seen more, ask them for advice and wisdom. Write to them or call them. Don’t take your leaders for granted, they are kept there for a purpose. The more you ask, the more wisdom you draw from them.
