Do you know that God wants you to have full freedom? In no area should you be limited. I’m not saying we won’t face challenges or fears. But no challenge and no fear in any area should be able to limit you. God wants you to function as a free spirit and in abundance, in every area of your life.
When Moses asked Pharaoh to let God’s people go, Pharaoh said, “I will let you go to sacrifice to the Lord your God in the wilderness; only you must not go very far away. Plead for me.” (Exodus 8:28)
But God did not agree and Pharaoh’s heart was further hardened. God desired space for His children.
Pharaoh tried again: “No! Go, the men among you, and serve the Lord, for that is what you are asking.” And they were driven out from Pharaoh’s presence.” (Exodus 10:11) The enemy will be ok with you having freedom in some areas, but he wants you bound in other areas.
He will say you can be free and have a great life but when it comes to your family, I want them to be bound. But partial freedom is not God’s style.
Then Pharaoh said, “Go, serve the LORD; your little ones also may go with you; only let your flocks and your herds remain behind.” (Exodus 10:24) Now he’s saying you can go with your family, but leave your cattle. The enemy will tell you it’s okay that you and your family are saved, but your finances must be bound. But God is not ok with that either, and Pharaoh’s heart was further hardened. That’s why Moses and Aaron said, “No, we are taking everything that we have.”
If this was not enough God made sure that the Israelites plundered the Egyptians. He made sure that He made the Egyptians pay.“but each woman shall ask of her neighbor, and any woman who lives in her house, for silver and gold jewelry, and for clothing. You shall put them on your sons and on your daughters. So you shall plunder the Egyptians.” (Exodus 3:22)
This is how God wants you to function. This is the kind of dominion that God wants you to have.
Not only are you completely free in every aspect of your life, but you make the enemy pay for every damage he caused you.He is called the God of Rehoboth. He is the God who makes space, and removes every constraint from your life.
What constraint are you facing today? What limitation has bound you?
Your Father is a good Father. 1 Timothy 6:17 says that He “gives us richly all things to enjoy”.
Know that God wants to bless you so that you may enjoy life. Only make sure that our heart is fully occupied by God.
