Girls, This is What God Wants for You in This Season (And it’s Better Than Money or Influence!)

Girls, This is What God Wants for You in This Season (And it’s Better Than Money or Influence!)

We often find ourselves complaining about not having enough money, talent or influence. Most people wake up every morning thinking how they can get more money or grow their influence. Even their goals are based on that.

Girl, while money, talent and influence are all good, there is something better that you can work towards in this year, and that’s a GOOD HABIT!

good habit

Why is a good habit so important?

Throughout the Scripture we see God looking for something that we already carry so He can “take it over” to bring about a mighty victory.

Little Samuel had a habit of sitting and ministering before the ark (1 Sam 3:1). God saw that consistency and decided to “take it over”, and multiply it to feed a nation.

God spoke to him and called out his name and made him His messenger and Prophet to Israel (1 Sam 3:19).

David had a habit of writing psalms and singing them. Today we have a whole book of his psalms that the whole world is reading.

The same principle, unfortunately, also works when we have bad habits.

Samson had a bad habit of an uncontrollable longing to be with women. The enemy took that habit and worked through it to destroy God’s plan for his life.

Judas had a bad habit of putting his hand in the money box and taking what was not his. His life and ministry ended with that one bad habit (John 12:6).

Are bad habits the reason for delays in your life?

Many times we blame God for our failures and pray unceasingly for a breakthrough or promotion!

But, could our delays be because of some bad habits that we are not willing to break?

Psalm 32:9 says, “Do not be like the horse or the mule, which have no understanding but must be controlled by bit and bridle or they will not come to you.”

That’s a person without a control switch; he is led by a bad habit.

So many people make big goals at the start of a new year. Can I encourage you this year to build at least 2 good habits that God can take over and use it for His glory.

God can take the good habit that you have developed and use it to open the heavens to rain down a blessing. This month put your heart and mind to develop a ‘good habit’ because God can take that habit and make it HIS ‘HABITATION’.

Girls, Here’s How to Avoid Regrets

Girls, Here’s How to Avoid Regrets

SNow it came to pass, in the days when the judges ruled, that there was a famine in the land. And a certain man of Bethlehem, Judah, went to dwell in the country of Moab, he and his wife and his two sons…And they went to the country of Moab and remained there. Then Elimelech, Naomi’s husband, died; and she was left, and her two sons. Now they took wives of the women of Moab: the name of the one was Orpah, and the name of the other Ruth. And they dwelt there about ten years. Then both Mahlon and Chilion also died; so the woman survived her two sons and her husband.
Ruth 1:1-5
In the above passage, we see how Elimelech and his family left Bethlehem and went to live in the land of Moab, among a people who worshipped idols and not the God of Israel. This decision did not turn out well for this family. In fact, it caused blessings to die in their lives one after the other. First, the father himself died, following which the sons who married the women of Moab died.
Every time we go into locations, enter into relationships, or venture into things where God is absent, we will begin to see our blessings leaving us one after the other.

Don’t let famines in your life to make decisions

But one may say a famine caused the family to move. It seemed like they did it for the family’s survival. It may have seemed like the right thing to do, yet the Bible doesn’t mention that they heard God regarding it or that it was God’s will for them to move out of Bethlehem.

That opportunity in your life may seem like a blessing that has come your way, but did that come from the Lord? That relationship may seem like the perfect one, but did God approve of it? That business opportunity offered to you may seem exciting, but is God with you in it?

Girls, before you make any decision in life, make sure God is with you in it. If not, it is better to wait than to regret it later.

Don’t let the famine in your life make you make decisions. Maybe you see all your friends married or in relationships. Don’t let that loneliness or pressure make you get into relationships that God has not approved of.

Know God’s Perfect Will

Israel was God’s nation. Though He punished them for their sins, He never left them nor forsook them. That was God’s promise to Israel. If Elimelech knew the location of the grace on his life, he wouldn’t have moved out, regardless of any famine.

Ruth, Naomi’s daughter-in-law, however, was wise enough to see the grace of God in Naomi’s life despite the fact that they lost their husbands. This decision of hers to remain in God’s will eventually caused her to be rewarded and restored with greater blessings, to the point where she became the great grandmother of King David and in the lineage of King Jesus.

God’s perfect will for your life is the location of grace, blessings, and protection over you. Know God’s will for your life and choose to remain in it despite what famine you see so that God may raise you up in due time.

Wait on the Lord and allow Him to work in your life. When you honor God’s will and timing, He will honor you with more than you could have ever asked or imagined.

In every area of your life, whether it’s finding a partner, choosing your friends, pursuing a career, or entering a business, no matter how confident or qualified you may seem to be, seek to know the will of God regarding it. That way, you save yourself from regrets.

If this post has blessed you, write back to us. We love to hear from you.

Girls, Your Garden is Your Responsibility! (+ 3 Tips)

Girls, Your Garden is Your Responsibility! (+ 3 Tips)

We live in a time where outward appearance is of great importance. There are YouTube channels, websites, and books on how you can improve the way you look or the way your surroundings look. Aesthetics have become an integral part of human life. Everything must look good.

I’m not against this. I believe we as children of God must reflect Kingdom standards in the way we carry ourselves and our things.

But this is what God has been teaching me: While it is good you take care of the outside which is seen by everyone, it is more important to take care of the inside, which even when no man sees, God sees.

yourgarden

But the LORD said to Samuel, “Do not look at his appearance or at his physical stature, because I have refused him. For the LORD does not see as man sees; for man looks at the outward appearance, but the LORD looks at the heart.” 1 Samuel 16:7

This is the part of you that God is more interested in; the real you.

Your mind is a garden.

Yes, your mind is like a garden. And how good this garden looks depends on how well you have been taking care of it and carrying it. Here’s the truth: Your garden is your responsibility.

God placed man and woman in the garden of Eden. The garden was given to them to take care of. When a snake came to speak deception to Eve, God didn’t come to rescue. It was in their hands to destroy the snake. Yet when they allowed the snake to remain and speak, it brought about their downfall.

If there are snakes in your garden, it is your responsibility to kill them. It is not the responsibility of your pastor or your leaders, but it is yours.

What are these snakes we often find in our garden? It is the lies of the devil that we have believed. It is the junk and filth of the world we have fed our minds with that now dictate our perception of life. In essence, it is anything that doesn’t align with the truth of God’s Word.

One way to check the condition of your garden is by checking your thought life. What does our thought life look like? Is it in order or have you accumulated it with the junk and filth of this world and the lies of the devil?

Here are some practical ways you can take care of your garden:

1. Guard your senses.

We are living in a time where there are lies, bad news, filth, and junk all around us. If we are open to everything, we are choosing to be the world’s junkyard. Guard what you allow your eyes to see and your ears to hear.

2. Build and nourish your soul with God’s Word.

The Word of God is the Truth. It is the supreme Word that can nullify every lie of the enemy. When you intentionally indulge yourself in studying and meditating on the Word, you are building your life on the foundation of Truth which cannot be shaken by any lie or inferior reality. Where everyone else fails, you will be found standing. That is the power of God’s Word.

3 .Stay connected to a Spirit-led church

This will ensure that you are guided in the right direction and keep you rooted in the Truth.

I pray this for you today: Lord, let this child of Yours fall in love with the Truth and build her life on the Truth, and live a life that is pleasing in Your eyes.
