Do I Need To Be Poor To Be Humble?

Do I Need To Be Poor To Be Humble?

Do you know the teaching you receive has a direct impact on your life? That’s right. You cannot grow beyond the teaching that you are receiving.

So if you are receiving a teaching that says, “You need to be poor to be humble”, that is wrong. Because God is clear in His Word– He wants you to have life and life in abundance. (John 10:10)

And, abundance means overflow. That means you live in an overflow!

humble

When we don’t know this truth, we will be quick to judge a man or woman of God, or a child of God functioning in prosperity.

Yet when we see somebody struggling to meet their finances, we think, “Oh! They are so humble”.

The truth is we are not running after money, instead we run after God. And when you run after God He will bless you with abundance.

Now if you have been taught, or if you think that money is dangerous, and that the more money you get, you tend to stray away from God, then instead of speaking against abundance, there is something better that you can do.

Want to know the better way?

The more you get, the more you give.

This will ensure that your heart is not fixed on money.

Why Is God Not Working In My Life?

Why Is God Not Working In My Life?

When God told Moses to go to Egypt, He gave him the entire plan of how He was going to use Moses to deliver Israel. Moses, however, was hesitant asking what if they don’t believe me or what if they don’t listen to me.

God assured him that He will do everything and all God wants him to do is take that step of faith. (Read Exodus 3 & 4)

And that is how God will work in our lives.

God Not working, God is Good

We want God to intervene in our lives but there is something He is asking us to do. He is asking us to take that step of faith. Because without faith it is impossible to please God.

So if you are asking, “Why is God not working in my life?”, remember that before God intervenes into your situation, He will always invite you into a partnership with Him. He will ask you to take that first step of faith.

That is how God works.

Maybe you desire to do further studies abroad and you are asking how will this be? How will I meet the finances?

And if you are waiting for everything to be budgeted correctly and the money to first come into your account, that is you functioning by fear.

But by faith God wants you to take that first step of faith.

After God gave Moses all the details of how He was going to deliver Israel through him, He asked Moses what was in his hands. And Moses said he had a staff.

So the Lord said to him, “What is that in your hand?” He said, “A rod.” Exodus 4:2

Later on when Moses took that first step of faith and left for Egypt with his wife and sons, the Bible says Moses took the rod of God.

Then Moses took his wife and his sons and set them on a donkey, and he returned to the land of Egypt. And Moses took the rod of God in his hand. Exodus 4:20

The moment Moses took that step of faith, that rod was now no longer the rod of Moses. It became the rod of God. Now the authority of God was in the hands of Moses.

Whatever situation or fear you are facing, know that God is very passionate to make sure that you are not limited by it.

But, you can’t stay stuck in that situation or in that fear believing that one day suddenly something will happen.

It’s time to move out knowing who you are and who is with you.

You are anointed to break every bondage of fear over your life, only take that first step of faith.

This Is The Reason You Lack Consistency In Reading The Word..

This Is The Reason You Lack Consistency In Reading The Word..

Wondering why you are inconsistent in reading the Word of God?

It’s simply because it has not become your lifestyle!

One day, as I was meditating on something, I heard the Lord say, “When something becomes your lifestyle, then I know you believe in its power”.

So, if your Bible reading is inconsistent, it means it has not yet become your lifestyle. Because at the heart level you still don’t believe in its power.

This applies to other areas in your walk with God, as well.

If you really believe that worship is takeover, you wouldn’t miss worshipping a single day.

God's Plan

Maybe you are inconsistent in your giving or inconsistent in the way you are serving in the House of God. Again, it is because it has not become your lifestyle, and that’s because you don’t really believe in its power.

For instance, if I know sugar is bad for me, and I still consume it every day, now it becomes my lifestyle. Because I don’t really believe that sugar is bad for me. But when it gets established in my heart that sugar is poison, then saying “no” to sugar becomes my lifestyle.

So, the reason why we are missing our time with God, and not deriving much from the Word is because at the end of it, we have other things that are more powerful in our life. Girls, this has to change.

In this season, make reading the Word of God a daily custom, until it is fully established in your heart and it becomes your lifestyle.

“What If I Miss God’s Plan For My Life?”

“What If I Miss God’s Plan For My Life?”

“What if I don’t fulfill my God-destiny?”

“What if I don’t end up where God wants me to be?”

“What if I make a mess in my decisions?”

“What if I disappoint God?”

“What if I walk away from Him?”

“What if I miss God’s plan for my life?”

Are these some of your fears? If yes, then there’s good news for you.

And the good news is Acts 7:20.

“At this time Moses was born; and he was beautiful in God’s sight. And he was brought up for three months in his father’s house,” Acts 7:20 (ESV)

“At this time Moses was born, and was well pleasing to God; and he was brought up in his father’s house for three months.” Acts 7:20 (NKJV)

God's Plan

Do you see it?

This is the Word of God settling all your fears.

God was well pleased with Moses, even before he could do anything for God.

God is pleased with you, whether you do anything for Him or not.

Your mistakes cannot cause God to hate you because His love for you is based on the fact that He is love.

The moment Moses was born, he was pleasing to God. The moment you are born again, you are pleasing to God; you become His child, and He becomes your Father. And no matter what you do in life, that will never change.

When He looks at you, He sees a reflection of Jesus in you. He is so awed that you look like Jesus, and that you are carrying the DNA of God Himself.

Imagine a baby in the hands of a father. The father is in love with the child because the child is a part of him. That’s how God looks at you.

As a mother, I love my children because they are from me. It doesn’t depend on what they do or don’t do in life. And, that’s how God is.

So never fear that you will miss out on God’s plan, because His love for you will never change.

That means, when you fall, His love will always draw you back. If a child falls, the first person to run towards the child is the father or the mother. They don’t like to see the child hurt, so they will make sure that the child is ok and that he is restored back. That’s how God is.

God has invested too much in you to let you go, or to allow the enemy to fool you by bringing in fears. He has invested in you too much to let disappointments bog you down.

So, let every fear of missing out on God’s plan be removed from your heart. Irrespective of what you do in life, you are a part of His heart. You are pleasing to Him, and this is the point from where God wants you to function.

What Is Worship Really? A Powerful Revelation on Takeover

What Is Worship Really? A Powerful Revelation on Takeover

Some time ago, I was worshiping God, and He gave me a definition of worship. Want to know what worship really is? It’s TAKEOVER! In the spiritual realm, worship is takeover!

When you praise God, what you are really doing is you are fighting. Your praise is the weapon with which you fight the enemy.

But as you keep praising, there comes a point when worship comes out of your heart. At this point, you enter into a phase of takeover. In the spiritual realm, this is the point when the battle is given to you.

That means the more your capacity to worship, the more you takeover.

worship, takeover

Some months ago, we had a worship session for 3 hours. Until then, when I stood for a long time, my lower back would begin to hurt.

But that day because I had received this revelation before the worship session, the way I worshipped completely changed! Now I want to worship more because I realized I’m taking over what the enemy was trying to steal.

Child of God,.worship is an ambush! It’s a surprise attack on your enemy. So, never lose your worship, no matter what situation you are in When your problems look big, worship. Because, that’s when you’re taking over.

When Job lost everything, he might have not understood why things were going wrong, but the Bible says that Job “worshipped” (Job 1:20). That’s when he began to takeover.

In the physical realm, he may have not seen the manifestation immediately. But, in the spiritual realm, when he genuinely worshipped God, that’s when he began to takeover.

Job must have got this idea from Abraham. Because when God told Abraham to sacrifice his son, the devil tried everything to stop him from doing it.

But Abraham said, “we are going to worship” (Genesis 22:5). And that’s when takeover really happened.

Your TAKEOVER lies in your worship.

Now that you have understood worship from God’s perspective, may your worship go to the next level, where you begin to TAKEOVER!
