Does God Care For My Struggles?

Does God Care For My Struggles?

God reminded me of a vision I saw long back that encourages me till date, and I believe you need to hear this today. In this vision I saw a man who was walking behind Jesus but was struggling along the way. I was disturbed because Jesus was walking fast and He wasn’t turning behind to look.

Hmm…I guess, more than me writing about it, go ahead, click this link below to head to our Youtube channel and watch this man’s full story (6 min). And hey, don’t forget to subscribe to our YouTube Channel and hit the bell icon to know every time we post a new video.

You Are Weird!

You Are Weird!

Do you remember your first day of your college or work? How did it go? How easy or difficult it was for you to connect to new people around you? It’s quite natural to look for “friends” so we can “belong somewhere.” We try to dress like them, talk like them, act like them, share the same interests they share and spend a lot of time with them.

I remember in my college days I would go to the extreme of spending all my time with my friends, so much so that I would not study. I was always trying to be like them so that I might “fit in”.

To be honest, everyone among us looks for acceptance.

And, the biggest lie of the enemy till today is that ‘you are not accepted’.

#friends#beingaccepted#rejected#rejection#Godismybestfriend

The enemy will make you believe that you are not accepted in your family, friend circle, office, community, also last to last even church! “See, you are weird” “You are the black sheep of the family” “How are you not like your friends?” are some of the words that you may be hearing.

Looking For Acceptance

In my school there was a girl who was very beautiful and loving. She tried hard to fit in with the girls around her, but somehow was unable to. So, she made friendship with boys because she reasoned that if she didn’t get accepted by the girl gang, the boys were her only company. The girl later ended up dating boys one after the other.
She looked for acceptance in the wrong places and that led to several heart breaks.

The big trap is when we go looking for acceptance from people rather than God. And that’s when people take advantage of you and start manipulating you.

Know Your God. And you’ll know where you belong!

If only we know what God says about us and that we are fully accepted and loved by Him, it will solve all our problems!

In the book ‘Girl’s Here’s What You Never Knew…‘ we share how when a daughter of God does not know her identity, she is like an orphan who doesn’t know that her Father is a King, and that she has a royal bloodline. So, she lives her life with a poor-old-me mentality, running everywhere for acceptance, without knowing the riches of her inheritance.

(Hey, btw in afore mentioned book ‘Girl’s Here’s What You Never Knew…‘ we talk in depth about issues girls like you face. Have you read a copy? If not, reply to his mail, and we will be happy to email you a free ecopy).

Beloved, God is our Father. And He is the King of kings and Lord of lords. Because of what Jesus did for us on the cross and took our place now we are accepted in the beloved.

Death ruled like a king because Adam had sinned. But that cannot compare with what Jesus Christ has done. God has treated us with undeserved grace, and he has accepted us because of Jesus. And so we will live and rule like kings (Rom 5:17 CEV)

Wow! You are bought for a price!

You belong to the Lord our God and you are a daughter of the Most High God!

You are a queen and a rightful heir to God’s promises

A queen may not have many friends but she has the king’s heart! Do you know from the day you have been in the your mother’s womb God already knew you? The Bible says ‘Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, before you were born I set you apart; I appointed you as a prophet to the nations.’ ( Jer 1:5 )

Girls who know they are set apart by the Lord are those who cannot be messed with!

When you know who you are and whose you are, you won’t feel the need to be accepted by people.
Today as you go about your day know that the Lord is with you and He is your King who accepts you just the way you are. He will never leave you nor forsake you. (Heb 13:5)

Also, about the girl I shared before, her story changed when she met the Lord Jesus and accepted Him as her Saviour. She started walking in the fear of the Lord and focused on pleasing Him in her singlehood. And sure enough, at the right time, God brought her the man he had kept for her and now they are happily engaged to be married.

A Rat, and a Reminder from God

A Rat, and a Reminder from God

One day as I was doing my daily runs in the park, a rat ran across me. It was as big as the size of my feet!

Normally I would have run away in the opposite direction, but the Lord began to reveal something to me. I happened to see that a ray of light falling on the rat was causing a big shadow on the wall behind it. Now the shadow of the rat was so big, almost like the size
of an elephant!

Shadows

That’s when I heard the Lord say, “This is how the devil works. He is actually the size of a rat, but magnifies your problem or himself as the big shadow you see on the wall. What you see is just a shadow, your actual problem is the size of the rat!”

When our problems become a shadow…

Whatever problem you may be facing – maybe in your school, college, job, marriage, family, that problem may seem to be standing like a giant in your way right now. But when we realise that we are seated in the Lord Jesus at the right hand of the Father, our
perspective changes (Ephesians 2:6). Now the same problem will look small compared to the size of God in us.

Whatever you think is great obstacle or a problem or glittery are just shadows. As David would say, “Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I fear no evil, for You are with me; Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me” (Psalm 23:4).

Here’s the key…

We got to pursue Jesus long enough till everything else becomes a shadow.

Many people pursue God for blessings. But imagine you are in a relationship and someone pursues you for what you can only give, but not for who you are.

Yikes!

Having Lord Jesus in your life is like having everything! He is all you need! He is your God, your Father, your King, your best Friend, your Savior, your Protector, your shield, your provider, your healer… and I can go on!

May our eyes be opened

Listen girls, people, pastors or leaders cannot pursue God for you. This is where you need to get up and hear God for yourself, open the Bible and know Him more personally.

This is your life’s homework!

You need to see God for who He is really. See Him with eyes not limited to a man, but with eyes that can be only opened by the Holy Spirit. He is the Great I Am. He is the One who went before you and suffered on the cross and is now seated at God’s right hand having all power and authority.

And guess what, He has given that authority to you, His precious daughter!

I am praying for you that your eyes will be so fixed on Jesus that everything else will become a shadow in the light of Him. I am praying that God will give you solutions and promises in His Word for your problem today as you open your Bible. I pray a mighty blessing on you girl! You are born to soar!

Are You Bitter? It’s Time To Let Go

Are You Bitter? It’s Time To Let Go

“And whenever you stand praying, forgive, if you have anything against anyone, so that your Father also who is in heaven may forgive you your trespasses.” *Mark 11:25*

LET GO- this is one of the most liberating things you can hear today, especially if you have been bitter in your heart and have been holding onto unforgiveness for a long time. Bitterness keeps you bound, robs you of joy and hinders you from living a fulfilled life. Whereas forgiveness liberates you, brings happiness and helps you live an abundant life.

Now you might be deeply hurt by someone and asking, “Why should I forgive this person?” I get it. I have asked the same question myself a few times in the past.

Here are few reasons why you must forgive and let go of that bitterness:

#LetGo#Nomorebebitter#Forgiveasyougo#Besetfree

The cost of holding onto that bitterness is greater

Many times there is a false sense of achievement in bitterness. You can be deceived into thinking that you are gaining something by holding onto a grudge. The truth is the longer you hold onto unforgiveness, knowingly or unknowingly, it is you who suffer, not the one you are bitter towards.

“..that no ‘root of bitterness’ springs up and causes trouble, and by it many become defiled.” Hebrews 12:5

It is a hindrance in your journey with the Lord

When I fully surrendered my life to the Lord, I was not an overnight transformed person. But as I started living this surrendered life, one of the areas God exposed in me was an unforgiving heart. I held onto past hurts.

Through many occasions (sometimes through a man or woman of God, sometimes through a blog post like this), God made it clear that He wanted me to let go of that bitterness. He wanted me to forgive and let go so that He can carry me forward in this beautiful journey with Him. But that unforgiveness simply cannot tag along.

“Let all bitterness and wrath and anger and clamour and slander be put away from you, along with all malice. Be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, as God in Christ forgave you.” *Ephesians 4:31-32*

Because you have been forgiven much

The more I understood how much I am forgiven, the easier it was for me to forgive and forgive quickly. If God were to hold our sins against us, even the nicest ones among us wouldn’t stand a chance of entering eternal life. Romans 5:8 says, “While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.” That’s how deeply forgiven we are. So, what are we holding onto?

It’s your pathway to freedom

When I finally let go of certain bitterness and unforgiveness that I held onto for a long time, it brought about inner healing and restoration in my life. I began to smile more often. Joy radiated from within me. I felt free. And, believe it or not, I was even set free from unusual aches and pain in my body. Unforgiveness is a sure stronghold, while forgiveness is meant to liberate you.

“But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness gentleness, self-control; against such things there is no law.” Galatians 5:22

As you are reading this, is God reminding you of someone you haven’t forgiven yet? Or the memory of a hurtful moment that you have well stored in the back of your mind? I encourage you, forgive and let go. It’s your first huge step to living a life of freedom in Christ.
